Arc. Dr. Kaycee Orji, Chairman, Roxettes Group, will be addressing African youths, investors, and industry stakeholders from the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, with a strong call for urgent economic action across the continent.
Orji will be speaking at the event alongside Wale Tinubu, Group Chief Executive, Oando Plc; and Ayo Sotinrin, Managing Director, Bank of Agriculture, in a session to be moderated by the duo of Ugonna Madueke and Nicole Asinugo.
Speaking ahead of his participation, Orji said Africa’s future could no longer be deferred, stressing that decades of waiting for change had yielded little progress.
According to him, the continent must now shift decisively from rhetoric to measurable productivity, driven largely by the current generation.
The serial entrepreneur disclosed that he would be speaking live from Nigeria House in Davos, where global leaders, policymakers, and business executives are gathered for the annual World Economic Forum.
He noted that his engagement would focus on confronting hard truths about Africa’s development trajectory rather than abstract theories or motivational rhetoric.
He explained that his message would centre on why delays have repeatedly failed the continent, why real economic production must take precedence over unfulfilled promises, and why today’s generation must take responsibility for building the economy that was long envisioned for Africa.
The Roxettes Motors chief also announced that his sessions would be streamed live on Facebook and Instagram to ensure direct engagement with young Africans, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators across the continent and in the diaspora.
The exact timing of the live broadcasts would be announced subsequently.
Emphasising the tone of his intervention, Orji clarified that his address was neither political nor inspirational in the conventional sense.
Rather, he described it as a practical and candid conversation focused on action, industrial growth, and collective responsibility for Africa’s economic future.
