The Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku.

During the visit, ATSSSAN expressed profound appreciation to the FAAN MD/CE for her continuous support and commitment to the welfare and growth of the Union and her members.

The Union commended the MD’s leadership style, which it noted has continued to foster mutual respect, trust, and effective collaboration between management and organised labour.

In her response, the FAAN MD/CE congratulated the newly elected ATSSSAN President Mr. John Ogbe, and charged him and his executive team to lead the Union with dignity, fairness, and equity in the overall interest of members and the aviation industry.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions and support for staff welfare and institutional development, ATSSSAN presented Mrs. Kuku with an award of excellence.

The visit concluded on a positive note, with both parties restating their commitment to sustained dialogue, cooperation, and the continuous advancement of the Nigerian aviation sector.

The Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr. Samuel Olatiregun; the Director of Commercial and Business Development, Ms. Joy Agunbiade; and the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Henry Agbebire were also present at the courtesy visit which held at the Authority’s Headquarters in Lagos.
