Five African countries including Nigeria, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Somalia, and Mauritania broke the United Nations (UN) resolution on human rights on the Internet, according to a new report. Surfshark’s Internet Shutdown Tracker said in a recent report that a total of 16 internet disruptions took place in these 5 African countries during or after the adoption of the resolution.
