The National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, has assured that it would continue to give equal opportunities to the vulnerable especially people living with various forms of disabilities in the country, as part of efforts to promote digital inclusion. The Kano State Government, Tuesday, launched a comprehensive rural electrification scheme, targeted at over 100 rural communities across the state. Established by Shenzhen Lemi Technology Development and Lemi Renewable Electricity Limited, the scheme seeks to provide solar home systems to small rural communities. On completion, the scheme is expected to provide an individual, with solar power to be paid on instalment. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has extended the deadline for the submission of Bids and Initial Bid Deposit for the 3.5GHz spectrum auction to 5.00 pm on Monday, 29th November, 2021.
