Airtel, one of Nigeria’s telecommunications services providers, has said it is partnering with AXA Mansard, to help deepen access, participation and enrolment in health insurance by more Nigerians. The announcement was contained in a statement by Airtel and made available to newsmen in Lagos over the weekend. Airtel stated that the partnership with AXA Mansard is in response to the Federal Government’s goal through its National Health Insurance Scheme, that easy access to healthcare should be provided for all Nigerians. Only 30% of Nigerian businesses are aware of privacy laws governing their marketing activities, despite Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) being in effect since 2019. This revelation is contained in a survey conducted by WorldWideWorx and commissioned by a global technology company, Zoho.
