The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has arrested no fewer than five suspected individuals for allegedly engaging in fraudulent registration and selling of Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards. The action is part of NCC’s routine enforcement activities to sanitise the industry of criminal elements according to a statement on Thursday signed by the Commission’s Director, Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde.
