The Managing Director/Chief Executive (MD/CE) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, alongside her directors and management staff, on Wednesday, led Dr. Hendrix Odige of the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) under the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, as well as Mr. Haliu Mohammed from the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, on an assessment tour of the Lagos Airport.

The CDCU is responsible for tracking the progress and performance of Presidential and Ministerial deliverables to ensure alignment with their roles in achieving the eight Presidential Priorities of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

Aviation, as captured in the 5th priority, focuses on “Enhancing Infrastructure and Transportation as Enablers of Growth.”

To achieve their objectives, the CDCU liaises with Delivery Task Teams (DTTs) across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), which monitor progress and submit quarterly reports.

In his closing remarks, the representative of the Presidency expressed profound satisfaction with the impressive strides made under the leadership of Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku.

Her comprehensive report presentation, coupled with an extensive tour of Domestic Terminal 1 (DT1) and the International Terminals of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, provided the distinguished visitors with an on-the-spot assessment of the progress achieved.
