The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Mrs. Gozy Ijogun, Chief Executive Officer of Task Systems Ltd, on her company’s remarkable win at the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards.

In a release signed by Mr Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Director of Media, Public Relations & Protocols at NIDCOM, Hon. Dabiri-Erewa described the achievement as another proud moment for Nigeria on the global stage, noting that securing such a prestigious award on American soil underscores the brilliance, resilience, and world-class competitiveness of Nigerian enterprises.

“Mrs. Gozy Ijogun and Task Systems have made Nigeria proud once again. Winning a Microsoft Partner of the Year Award on American soil is a powerful testament to Nigerian brilliance, entrepreneurial spirit, and global competitiveness,” she said.

She added that the feat stands as “a huge victory for our nation and an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians in the tech space.”

The NiDCOM boss emphasized that outstanding accomplishments like this continue to reshape global perceptions about Nigerians, showcasing the exceptional talent and excellence the country consistently produces across sectors.

Dabiri-Erewa recalled that Mrs. Ijogun, who holds a degree in Chemistry from University College London and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Organizations, and Institutions from the London School of Economics, has also completed advanced certifications and executive programmes at top global institutions.

After her studies, she returned to Nigeria to lead the Task Systems team, championing innovation and driving digital transformation.

The NiDCOM Chief Executive stated that Task Systems Limited’s recognition at the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards highlights the company’s exceptional innovation, customer impact, and leadership in delivering transformative Microsoft solutions while maintaining strong Nigerian identity and values.
