Globacom, a digital and telecommunications service provider, has unveiled Auto Credit, a new addition to Glo’s E-top-up services.

Globacom said the new service will be of immense benefit to customers who run out of credit mid-conversation by providing seamless transition and connection.

Auto Credit was formally unveiled at an exquisite evening themed ‘Pushing The Frontiers: An Evening With Glo,’ held at Eko Hotels & Suite, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday, October 6, 2022, where the company hosted captains of industry, Nigeria’s business elite, and select business associates.

The company’s new E-top-up service will ensure that conversation runs seamlessly by providing immediate credit for customers who run out of credit mid-conversation.

Also at the event, Globacom’s Money Master PSB, its payment Service Bank which commenced business recently with the over-arching objective to drive the Central Bank of Nigeria’s mandate of 95% financial inclusion by 2024 was formally introduced to the guests.

Welcoming guests to the event, Globacom’s Head of Enterprise Business, Zakari Usman said, “Globacom has always played at the intersection of technology and life by leveraging technology to facilitate the design and launch of innovative products and services that provide value for all stakeholders while enhancing life.”

Reiterating the network’s commitment to innovative and value-adding services, Zakari went on memory lane, highlighting Glo’s products and services including per-second billing, Blackberry Services, 4G Data, VAS – Borrow me data service, Digital – GloCafe and GloTV.

He also added Glo Berekete 10X, digital and VAS products like e-top-up, and the annual end-of-year promos which disrupted the telecoms market positively over the years.

On Auto Credit, he explained that “Glo Auto Credit, which can be accessed via bank applications, offers automatic credit for customers to make calls and use data. Subscribers of the service will be auto-credited when their airtime balance gets to a minimum threshold limit at their desired frequency (daily/weekly/monthly).”

Esaie Diei, Money Master PSB’s Head of Product & Marketing, informed the guests of the successful take-off of the payment service bank.

According to him, “MoneyMaster will disrupt and revolutionize the financial industry in the same way that Globacom revolutionized the telecoms industry with cutting-edge technology and unique products when it started operations in 2003.”

Anchored by ace comedian, Gordons, guests at the event were thoroughly entertained with comedy and music courtesy of Seyi Law and different artists including Teni Makanaki, Ego Ogbaro, Yemi Sax, and delightful Chike who all made it a night to remember for a long time to come.

Athletic World champion and Glo’s newest brand ambassador, Tobi Amusan was also in attendance.
