The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has commended the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo for his footprints in infrastructural development in the state, reports Digital TimesNG.

GOCOP President, Maureen Chigbo, gave the commendation when she led members of the guild on a tour of the Kogi State government house at the end of the annual conference of GOCOP held in Lokoja last week.

Chigbo who was a guest on LugardTV at the end of the tour of new projects completed by the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the government house praised the Governor’s performance in infrastructural development and commitment to media investment as exemplified by the new executive council chamber, the banquet hall and the media centre which houses LugardTV among others.

She urged the Kogi State Governor to remain focused and committed to providing purposeful leadership for the people of the state.

Other members of the guild who spoke on the sideline of the two-day conference also commended Governor Ododo for his exemplary performance in less than one year in office as the Governor of Kogi state.

The 8th Annual Conference of Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) took place in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital between October 2 and 3, 2024 with the theme “Nigeria: Tackling Insecurity, Power Deficit And Transitioning To Digital Economy.”
