A deliberate transition from reactive messaging to structured, fact-based engagement will define QNET’s operations in 2026, as the company sharpens its focus on transparency, regulatory compliance and ethical direct selling across Sub-Saharan Africa.
At a New Year media webinar themed “Setting the Narrative for the Year,” QNET executives mapped out priorities for the months ahead, underscoring consumer protection, stakeholder collaboration and responsible entrepreneurship as core imperatives.
Welcoming participants, moderator Kolade Dominate underscored the need for clarity and purposeful communication in shaping how the organisation’s activities are understood in the public space.
Deputy Regional General Manager, QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, Cherif Bassirou Abdoulaye Sarr, in his opening remarks, reflected on engagements with journalists in 2025, observing that sustained collaboration helped counter misinformation, broaden awareness and reinforce confidence in the firm’s operating model.
He noted that the 2026 direction will revolve around innovation, strategic alliances, responsible business practices and open communication, guided by the theme “Energised Every Day.”
According to Sarr, delivering consistent value through wellness solutions, entrepreneurial pathways and structured dialogue with stakeholders remains integral to the company’s regional outlook.
Regional Legal Counsel, Kwasi Fredua Agyeman Danso, emphasised the importance of credible media platforms in promoting accurate reporting and dispelling entrenched misconceptions about QNET’s operations.
He maintained that steady interaction with reputable outlets enables the organisation to clarify its framework and strengthen trust among consumers and regulators.
Further insights from QNET’s Sub-Saharan Africa public relations leadership highlighted measures aimed at deepening openness.
These include facilitating journalist participation at international conventions, convening regional engagement sessions and organising product education expos to enhance understanding of the company’s portfolio and market footprint.
Delivering the keynote address, General Manager, QNET Nigeria, Ayokunmi Solesi, described the 2026 theme as signalling a calculated move toward proactive narrative building anchored on facts, consistency and stakeholder engagement.
Reviewing activities in 2025, Solesi said the company intentionally redirected discourse “from controversy to contribution, from misunderstanding to clarity, and from speculation to fact-based engagement,” particularly on issues bordering on ethical entrepreneurship, regulation and consumer protection.
He identified three pillars for the year ahead: entrepreneurship development, compliance and consumer safeguards, and wellness-focused product advancement.
Solesi argued that ethical direct selling can unlock economic participation in environments with constrained formal employment opportunities.
At the same time, he stressed that adherence to regulatory standards, alongside zero tolerance for brand misuse and fraudulent recruitment, remains uncompromising.
He added that expanded investment in research-led wellness innovations reflects evolving consumer consciousness and QNET’s resolve to enhance quality of life through responsible enterprise.
Describing Nigeria as a pivotal growth hub within Africa, Solesi disclosed plans to intensify public education on direct selling, deepen cooperation with regulators and promote greater openness in customer engagement.
Reiterating the company’s partnership with the press, he affirmed that journalists are indispensable allies in fostering informed public conversation and sustaining credibility.
While expressing optimism for a productive and impactful 2026, Solesi noted: “As narratives become grounded in facts and sustained engagement, confidence in the brand will continue to grow.”
