An aspirant to the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Hippolitus Chukwudi, has congratulated the government and people of Imo State on the occasion of the state’s 50th anniversary, describing the milestone as a celebration of resilience, progress, and shared heritage.

In a statement issued to commemorate the golden jubilee, Chukwudi said the anniversary offers an opportunity for Ndi Imo, both at home and in the diaspora, to reflect on the state’s journey since its creation and renew commitment to a more prosperous future.

He commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for what he described as focused and visionary leadership, noting that the state has recorded notable progress under the current administration.

According to him, key sectors such as road infrastructure, street lighting, security, governance reforms, and human capital development have witnessed meaningful improvements, contributing to a better quality of life for residents.

“These strides reaffirm our collective resolve to build an Imo State that works for all,” Chukwudi said.

The aspirant added that the 50th anniversary should serve as a moment to strengthen unity, peace, and sustainable development across the state, stressing that greater opportunities lie ahead if citizens work together.

“As we celebrate our proud heritage, we must also look forward with renewed determination to unlock greater opportunities for future generations,” he stated.

Chukwudi concluded by wishing Imo State continued growth and stability, expressing optimism that the years ahead would usher in deeper prosperity, stronger institutions, and shared pride for all Ndi Imo.
