In a remarkable display of entrepreneurial vision and industrial ambition, Roxettes Motors officially commissioned its newest development, Roxettes Plaza and Industrial Flagship Facilities, in Enugu, Enugu State, on Saturday.
The grand occasion drew dignitaries, business leaders, government officials, and well-wishers from across the region.
Delivering his welcome address, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Roxettes Motors, Arc. Dr. Kaycee Orji, described the event as more than the unveiling of a commercial structure.
“It is a statement, one that reflects our belief in building Africa from within, and planting the seeds of innovation that can germinate into global-scale industries right here on African soil,” he declared.

The sprawling Roxettes Plaza houses an impressive mix of commercial and industrial installations, including a paint factory with a daily production capacity of over 40 tons, a calcium carbonate processing plant producing 4,320 metric tons annually, CITY PLATES FOODS restaurant, and the 4-CORNERS SUPERMARKET.
Dr. Orji noted that these projects are not merely economic investments but deliberate steps toward achieving Nigeria’s industrial independence.
“Our journey did not start here,” he recounted. “It began with K.Kh Contractors (Nig.) Ltd, a company I founded during my university years. From designing houses to constructing roads, it laid the foundation for everything we are today.”
That foundation has now evolved into a diversified conglomerate, The Roxettes Group, touching multiple sectors from manufacturing and infrastructure to energy, mobility, and digital finance.

Among the most striking innovations presented was Roxettes Motors’ line of electric and CNG-powered vehicles tailored specifically for the African terrain.
Models such as the SURGE-X and VOLTA-X represent a pivot toward clean, affordable, and locally-engineered mobility solutions. “Our vehicles are built to solve real problems, reliable, affordable, and proudly African,” Orji said.
Also highlighted was Roxettes’ significant push into the clean energy space. The company is currently deploying Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) compression and distribution systems, including conversion centres and CNG generators.
According to Dr. Orji, by August 2025, ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be fully operational at the newly commissioned plaza.
Yet another transformative project in the pipeline is BEEZENDS, a Fintech Super App set to launch soon. “This platform combines digital banking, SME tools, social communication, stock management, payroll, ride-hailing, and much more. It’s a unified solution built for the African economy, and by extension, for the world,” Orji announced.

He emphasized that these numerous ventures are not acts of over-ambition, but a response to infrastructural and economic gaps in the region.
“We’re not trying to do too much. We’re simply responding to the deficits of our region and doing what we can, one dream at a time,” he said, urging Nigerian youth and visionaries across Africa to act rather than wait. “The strength of a nation lies in its citizens, in their ideas, their courage, and their sacrifice.”
Dr. Orji also paid tribute to the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for promoting private sector-led growth and industrial tourism in Enugu State.
He expressed gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Ugochi Madueke, who represented the governor at the event. “Our mission at ROXETTES harmonizes with his vision for Enugu and for Nigeria,” he affirmed.
The event concluded with a rallying message from Dr. Orji, for all stakeholders: “As we commission this plaza today, we are not just opening a building, we are declaring that Africa can rise, build, and compete. From Enugu to the world, let this be a spark.”
The commissioning of Roxettes Plaza marks another bold stride in indigenous industrialization and stands as a shining example of what is possible when vision, commitment, and local investment intersect.
