News Highlights:

  • Sparkle’s first session at the Moonshot by TechCabal conference will focus on the opportunities presented by open banking in Nigeria.
  • The second session will be a panel discussion on how effective risk management can grow lending businesses.

Nigeria’s leading digital bank, Sparkle, is set to host two key sessions focused on open banking and risk management at the second annual Moonshot by TechCabal conference, scheduled for Wednesday, 9th October, and Thursday, 10th October 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

Sparkle’s sessions will take place on Thursday, 10th October, at 10:10 AM and 2:40 PM respectively.

The first, a fireside chat titled, ‘The open banking opportunity – How to take advantage of it,’ will feature Uzoma Dozie, CEO, Sparkle and Adedeji Olowe, Founder & CEO, Lendsqr and Trustee at Open Banking Nigeria. Together, they will explore how open banking can revolutionise the financial landscape and drive economic growth in Nigeria.

The second session, a panel discussion held on the Future of Commerce stage, will focus on ‘Risks and credit – Leveraging risks to grow your lending business.’ Panellist Folakemi Fatogbe, Chairman, Board Credit & Risk Committee, Development Bank of Nigeria will join Adedeji Olowe, Uzoma Dozie, and moderator Jessica Hope, Founder & CEO, Wimbart, to discuss the importance of robust risk management and how understanding risk can enhance business outcomes.
