NCC Holds Public Inquiries On 3 Draft Regulatory Instruments October 25

The Nigerian Communications Commission is calling on interested stakeholders to participate in the Commission’s organised Public Inquiries on the Draft Registration of Telephone Subscribers Regulations, SIM Replacement Guidelines and The Spectrum Trading Guidelines.

The Commission said in a recently published notice signed by its Director, Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde that it was in the exercise of its functions under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (the Act) that it published the draft regulatory instruments on its website at www.ncc.gov.ng for stakeholders’ comments.

NCC said that in accordance with Section 57 of the Act, Public Inquiries in respect of the above-mentioned draft regulatory instruments have been scheduled to hold virtually at 11.00 am on the dates stated below:

  • Registration of Telephone Subscribers Regulation holds Tuesday, October 5, 2021
  • SIM Replacement Guidelines holds Tuesday, October 5, 2021
  • Spectrum Trading Guidelines holds Tuesday, October 5, 2021

“Interested stakeholders are by this notice invited to make written submissions on the subject and participate in the Public Inquiries. Details of the virtual meeting will be forwarded to interested attendees prior to the Public Inquiries,” the notice further disclosed.

The notice further directed that all submissions must reach the Commission on or before Friday, September 24, 2021, and should be addressed to:
