Plentywaka, Nigeria’s largest bus network transportation company, and Libra Motors Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading transportation companies, with specialization in the interstate travelling industry have announced a partnership to further simplify the bus booking travel experience for Nigerians.

This partnership according to a statement by Plentywaka, would see both companies combine technology, and marketing, to bring transport into one simple product, the Plentywaka mobile app.

Founded in 2003, Libra Motors Limited has set out itself to be a leading transport organization currently operating from 18 terminals in 10 states including Lagos, Rivers, Delta, Enugu, Imo, Abuja, Abia, and Edo states with a fleet size of over 200 buses.

Libra Motors Limited is touted as the foremost transport business company in Nigeria with a concentration on people and convenient service delivery.

With over 300,000+ completed rides in the space of 18months, Plentywaka has recently launched its interstate travel service called City to city which provides affordable tickets from major bus travel companies such as Libra Motors to create ease of ticket purchase for travel commuters across the country.

This new service will offer commuters the luxury of booking bus trips directly on the Plentywaka mobile app, while also giving its users comparison options from a wide range of travel companies in a single search.

This enables users the opportunity to plan their entire journey without having to leave the comfort of their homes or stand in long queues.

DigitalTimesNG understands that Libra Motors and Plentywaka will in the light of this partnership, be providing millions of bus commuters access to explore different states across Nigeria.

For the first time and through this innovative partnership with Libra Motors, commuters can take advantage of the ongoing Easter promo campaign.

This campaign gives users the opportunity to book tickets at unbeatable and affordable prices from one city to another such as Lagos to Aba or Lagos to Umuahia at below half the price of the regular travel tickets starting from the 29th of March 2021.

Johnny Ena, Co-Founder, and President of Plentywaka said “The partnership with Libra Motors is great for our users especially at this time where a lot of Nigerians are travelling home for the Easter season.

“We are very excited to have developed the technology behind an easy-to-use mobile app that will make the travel experience seamless for Nigerians.

“And we see these heavily discounted bus ticket prices as a give back to Nigerians for their support over the years, even as we expand our services beyond the shores of the country.”

Godwin Eghosa Odoruyi, the Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Libra Motors said “Our aim is to help more people travel around Nigeria easily, and conveniently. We firmly believe that the travel experience can be made even easier for Nigerians travelling daily from one city to another.

“This is why this partnership with Plentywaka is so exciting for all of us, judging from how much they have achieved since their launch in 2019.”

Plentywaka said in the statement that starting from today, commuters can now use the Plentywaka mobile app to either book their daily rides using the bus service or book and buy bus travel tickets from the comfort of their homes.

All this backed by the rich technology Plentywaka has built since 18 months of launch where they have completed over 300,000+ rides with a customer base of 51,000+ that have enjoyed the service.

“Plentywaka will continue to sign leading bus operators in Nigeria as it sets its sight on becoming the largest aggregator of bus operators in the country providing a better way to manage their bookings and customers,” the statement further read.

The Plentywaka app is available for download on both Google Play and iOS
