ROXETTES MOTORS is advancing its clean mobility strategy in Nigeria with plans to expand commercial DC Fast Charging infrastructure across Abia State, a move designed to accelerate electric vehicle adoption and support government-led electrification of public transport.

The company disclosed this following a strategic exploration of Umuahia urban and key traffic corridors last weekend.

Speaking after an on-the-spot technical and operational assessment of its existing charging stations, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kaycee Orji confirmed that all installed charging piles in Abia State are performing optimally.

“I personally carried out an on-the-spot assessment of our charging stations across Abia State last weekend, and I am pleased to confirm that all charging piles are in very good condition and performing optimally,” he said.

Dr. Kaycee explained that the planned deployment of DC Fast Chargers is central to ROXETTES MOTORS’ broader vision of improving ease of movement for residents and visitors while positioning Abia State as a clean mobility hub.

As part of this rollout, he announced a major incentive: all ROXETTES MOTORS electric vehicle users in the state will enjoy free charging for one year.

“This initiative is deliberate. We want to remove charging anxiety, encourage EV ownership, and position Abia State as one of Nigeria’s leading clean mobility hubs,” he stated.

The company has already established itself as a pioneer in electric mobility development in the South-East, supporting electric buses, taxis, and public charging infrastructure.

Its interventions align with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions, lower transport operating costs, and promote sustainable urban development.

Dr. Kaycee reaffirmed ROXETTES MOTORS’ commitment to working closely with the Abia State Government and other stakeholders to deepen clean transport infrastructure across the state.
