News Highlights:

  • Starlink Resumes Nationwide Activations After Major Bandwidth Expansion
  • Konga Offers Free Nationwide Delivery as Starlink’s Retail Partner

Starlink, the satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, has announced a major expansion of its bandwidth capacity across Nigeria, a move set to dramatically improve internet access and reliability nationwide.

With this development, the company has resumed customer activations across the country, prioritizing high-demand areas such as Lagos, Abuja, and other major urban centres thus marking a renewed push to deliver fast, stable internet connections to both residential and commercial users.

This expansion is a bold step in Starlink’s mission to bridge Nigeria’s digital divide, ensuring that every Nigerian, no matter where they live, can access world-class internet service.

The new rollout will also enable Starlink to serve a significantly larger user base while offering enhanced internet speeds and greater network stability. As part of its long-term strategy, Starlink aims to provide seamless connectivity to underserved and remote regions, revolutionizing the way Nigerians connect, work, and communicate.

In response to this information, Konga, Starlink’s biggest authorised retail partner, has expressed excitement at this development. To make the process even easier for Nigerians, Konga is offering free nationwide delivery.

“Whether you order online through www.konga.com or walk into any Konga retail outlet nationwide (Asaba, PH, Ikeja, Uyo, Owerri, Ibadan, FCT, Warri, Kano, Enugu, and Onitsha), your Starlink kit will be delivered to your doorstep at no extra cost,” Konga said in a statement.

Recently, Starlink had to temporarily pause activations in some areas due to overwhelming demand. Bandwidth capacity was completely maxed out in high-demand zones like Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and parts of Ogun State.

But now, thanks to aggressive network expansions and upgraded infrastructure, Starlink has resumed activations nationwide, offering more users access to world-class satellite internet.

This move doesn’t just improve access, it transforms it. With Starlink’s expanded coverage and Konga’s reliable fulfillment, more Nigerians can now experience the power of uninterrupted internet service. So, if you’ve been waiting for the right time to connect, now is that moment.
