News Highlights:

  • TD Africa and Huawei launch strategic Installer Workshop to drive eKit adoption
  • Initiative aimed at bridging the gap between technology and execution

In a strategic move to drive the widespread adoption of Huawei’s eKit solution across Africa, TD Africa — the continent’s leading technology distributor — partnered with global tech powerhouse Huawei to host an exclusive Installer Workshop on April 30th at the Huawei Experience Centre, Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

Digital TimesNG reports that far more than a routine industry gathering, the workshop was a targeted initiative designed to educate, empower, and onboard a new wave of certified installers.

These professionals will serve as TD Africa’s official deployment force, delivering Huawei’s eKit networking solutions to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) throughout Africa.

Understanding that access to the right technology alone isn’t enough, TD Africa is bridging the gap between product availability and effective performance by equipping SMEs with skilled installers who are technically trained and attuned to the unique demands of the African business environment.

“The essence of this workshop is to equip these installers with the right product knowledge and technical know-how to deliver top-notch installation service to businesses across the region,” said Ayotunde Atiba, Group Head, Huawei SMB & Runrate, TD Africa.

“For us, it’s not just about distributing products. It’s about creating an ecosystem that supports growth, efficiency, and excellence,” he further stated.

The Huawei eKit, featuring enterprise-grade routers, switches, access points, and the innovative IdeaHub, has already been positioned as the definitive networking solution for African SMEs. But to ensure its optimal usage, trained and trusted hands must bring it to life in the field.

“This is a step in the right direction for us,” added Ajuma Gabriels, Huawei eKit Sales Manager, Nigeria.

“If these installers don’t get the necessary training, the chances that they will deliver quality services to the end users will be at stake. That’s why this partnership with our gold distributor, TD Africa, is so crucial.”

Through this initiative, installers will not only receive professional training but will also gain direct access to Huawei eKit products via registered TD Africa partners, alongside exclusive discounts, rebates, and ongoing technical support.

This workshop marks another strategic stride in TD Africa’s mission to democratise access to cutting-edge technology solutions.

With a growing army of certified installers and an unrelenting focus on quality, TD Africa and Huawei are not just selling products; they are powering a connected future for businesses across Africa, one installation at a time.
