SeamlessHR, Africa’s leading HRTech software-as-a-service company, has hired digital marketing expert Tomi Ajiboye to build and lead its marketing and communications.
This strategic move heels on the company’s recent seed funding and the announcement of its plans to scale the platform across Africa.
Tomi Ajiboye will take complete ownership of the marketing function in the new role, developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth. She will also be responsible for building a high-performing marketing team.
Tomi brings over a decade of digital marketing experience, leading digital marketing initiatives for top brands across several industries, including banking, insurance, consumer electronics and pharmaceuticals.
She was also responsible for building and launching Simon Page’s e-learning platform, which has gained incredible traction in the marketing community in just a year.
Apart from getting her bachelor’s degree, Tomi is CIM UK qualified and is one of the first people in Africa to hold its CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing. She also holds DMI’s Certified Digital Marketing Professional award.
“I am delighted about this opportunity to use my digital marketing and leadership skills to drive growth initiatives at SeamlessHR,” she said.
“Being able to focus on practicing digital and performance marketing is precisely what I need to be doing at this stage of my career. I am already experiencing the creativity and flexibility that can only be found in tech startups like SeamlessHR, and I look forward to using my skill set to drive business results.”
Tomi has left her footprint in the digital marketing community following her role in convening the first digital marketing conference and exhibition (DMCE) in Nigeria and tutoring digital marketing courses in programmes offered by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland.
Tomi has also contributed to Nigeria’s digital economy through speaking engagements, masterclasses and other industry events.
