- Governor Charles Soludo reappointed Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA) as Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, reinforcing confidence in his leadership.

The Anambra State Government has reinforced its digital transformation drive by reappointing Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA) as Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency.
Governor Charles Soludo approved the reappointment, signalling the administration’s unwavering commitment to innovation, continuity, and the growth of the state’s digital economy.
This decision reflects confidence in Mr. Agbata’s proven leadership and his pivotal contributions to building a resilient technology ecosystem.
Under his stewardship, the ICT Agency has spearheaded initiatives that strengthen digital infrastructure, advance tech-enabled governance, and position Anambra as a rising hub for innovation and ICT development in Nigeria.
By sustaining this leadership, the Soludo administration underscores its vision of a digitally empowered Anambra, where technology drives governance efficiency, economic opportunities, and inclusive growth.
In addition to this, the Governor also approved leadership appointments for key state agencies.
Mr. Emeka Okonkwo (Konti) has been reappointed as Managing Director of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), while Mr. Osita Onuko has also been reappointed as Managing Director of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).
Both officials previously served in the same capacities during the Governor’s first tenure, and their reappointment reflects continuity in leadership as well as sustained confidence in their performance and institutional experience.
Governor Soludo charged all appointees to bring renewed energy, professionalism, and a strong results-oriented approach to their respective agencies, in line with his administration’s vision of building a liveable and prosperous smart mega city.
