The Kano State Government, Tuesday, launched a comprehensive rural electrification scheme, targeted at over 100 rural communities across the state. Established by Shenzhen Lemi Technology Development and Lemi Renewable Electricity Limited, the scheme seeks to provide solar home systems to small rural communities. On completion, the scheme is expected to provide an individual, with solar power to be paid on instalment.
