To help victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey, Samsung has announced that it will donate $3 million to Turkey and offer other help, such as free repairs and appliances. The South Korean firm will donate $1.5 million in cash to Turkey Disaster and Risk Management Agency, according to a report on its website. Zoom, the videoconferencing giant that grew rapidly during the pandemic, said Tuesday that it was laying off 15% of its workforce, or about 1,300 employees, according to a report in the Seattletimes.
