OneWeb, the low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications company, has confirmed the successful deployment and contact of 40 satellites launched by SpaceX from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, with Lift-off taking place on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 2:13 pm ET (local). Google has opened applications for this year’s Black Founders Fund for Startups in Africa and Europe. Startups from Africa applying for the fund must be headquartered in the continent or have a legal presence on the continent.
