Abuja has just welcomed a bold glimpse into the future of banking as FirstBank, West Africa’s premier financial powerhouse, launched its state-of-the-art Digital Xperience Centre (DXC) in Area 10.

The new centre redefines customer interaction by offering a fully automated, paperless, and intelligent banking experience, a landmark step in FirstBank’s drive to make everyday banking faster, smarter, and more immersive.

The fully automated branch is FirstBank’s 7th Digital Xperience Centre across Nigeria.

At the colourful ceremony, FirstBank Group CEO, Olusegun Alebiosu, said the Centre is part of the bank’s grand vision to create a fully digital, customer-centric banking experience that meets modern demands.

“For us, the future is digital,” Alebiosu declared. “From account opening to transfers, customers can now perform almost every transaction on their phones. But for those who still need to deposit or withdraw cash, our Xperience Centres provide a 24/7 self-service option, even on weekends.”

He revealed that FirstBank has integrated artificial intelligence and biometric technology into its security systems to safeguard customers against fraud. “We have built strong controls and a tripartite verification process to ensure safety,” he added.

The event drew dignitaries, including Senator Babangida Hussaini, who praised the bank’s innovation.

“This is a forward-thinking initiative. I commend FirstBank for investing in both people and technology,” he said.

Customers like Mrs. Toyin Balogun were also full of praise: “The staff are always friendly. I believe this new Centre will make things even smoother and faster,” she remarked.
