Africa’s digital transformation agenda will take centre stage in Lagos as the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) unveils plans for the 2026 edition of ICTEL Expo, the continent’s leading platform for innovation, collaboration, policy dialogue, and sustainable digital development.
The two-day event, scheduled for Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, is expected to convene a diverse mix of policymakers, regulators, technology leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, development partners, academics, and other key stakeholders from across Africa.
With the Theme “Africa’s Next Tech Frontier: Building, Securing & Scaling Digital Prosperity,” the Expo will provide a unique platform for thought leadership, strategic engagement, business networking, investment discussions, and policy conversations aimed at accelerating Africa’s digital transformation journey.
The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry remains committed to promoting the broader business community through effective public policy advocacy, business development initiatives, and the advancement of the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical business practices.
Speaking ahead of the conference, Dr Chinyere Almona, Director-General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasised the significance of the Expo in fostering collaboration among critical stakeholders.

Also speaking, the ICT sectoral group Chairman, also the Committee Chairman of ICTEL Expo 2026, Segun Okuneye, described the event as a catalyst for innovation, enterprise growth, and regional cooperation.
“The future of Africa’s prosperity will be increasingly driven by innovation, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships. ICTEL Expo 2026 offers stakeholders an opportunity to exchange ideas, explore emerging opportunities, strengthen business relationships, and collectively shape the future of the continent’s digital economy.

The two-day event is expected to feature keynote addresses, high-level panel discussions, exhibitions, networking sessions, business matchmaking opportunities, and presentations by leading organisations and innovators driving Africa’s economic and digital transformation.
